Operating Systems and Configurations for Window Dressings
by Cover Your Windows
Cover Your Windows can configure window dressings and treatments for any scenario using a variety of configurations and Hunter Douglas Operating Systems. Here’s the low-down, the lingo and examples of each.

A Deux Shadings

Bi-Fold Track
Allows up to six panels to be hinged together. Panels are connected to a top track, which supports the panels and guides their folding movements.

Bypass Track
Shutters slide on top tracks to open and close. Multiple tracks allow the panels to slide past each other.

Combination Wand-Cord
Single control traverses the sheer and rotates the vanes.

Continuous Cord Loop
Loop and clutch system to raise and lower larger window coverings. Cord loop system to traverse window coverings open and closed.

Cordlock
Original lifting system with quiet and reliable operation.

Dual Roller Application

Duolite
Two fabric panels are used—one between the top rail and center rail and one between the center rail and bottom rail. Each panel has its own set of lift cords so either fabric panel, or portion of a fabric panel, may be used to cover a window.

EasyRise
Continuous cord loop and clutch system to easily raise or lower larger shades.

EasyView Arch
Sliding handle smoothly raises and lower arch-shaped honeycomb shades.

EPIC Operating System
Custom-engineered cordlock system standard for all horizontal blinds built with a 2” low-profile headrail.

Front Tilt Bar
Bar that is attached vertically to all shutter louvers on the front of the panel, to coordinate movement of the louvers.

Lantana Hidden Operating System
Allows all shutter louvers to be closed at once with the touch of a finger. Uses an internal gear and rack system in one of the stiles.

LiteRise
Virtually eliminates cords and allows blinds to raise or lower with touch of a finger.

MagnaView
Tilt system creates twice the view-through between slats.

Palmetto Tilt Bar
Shutter louvers are opened and closed using a tilt bar linked to the louvers.

PermAssure Safety Wand
Operates vertical blinds with a simple twist; completely eliminates the chain and cord.

PermaTilt Wand Control System
Cord attached to wand used to move vertical blinds from side to side. Provides traverse and rotation control in one single unit.

PowerView Motorization
Motorized wireless control system used for raising and lowering shades or traversing sheers and gliding window panels. Also opens, closes, and rotates vanes, if applicable.

SimpleLift
Cordless entry-level lifting system that enhances safety and simple operation.

Simplicity-Skylift
Hardware system to cover skylights, windows on sloped walls or hard to reach windows. Available with manual and PowerView motorization.

Standard Hinged Panel
Single Shutter panels can be individually hinged or two panels may be hinged together.

Top-Down/Bottom-Up with Tilt Anywhere
Shades can be operated top-down, bottom-up or in combination. The tilt anywhere feature allows vanes to function in any position.

Top Down-Bottom Up
Shadings can be operated top-down, bottom-up or in combination. (Combination operation does not apply to Traditional Vignette Modern Roman Shades).

Ultraglide 2 Click and Walk Away
Lower and tilt shadings with one click, and raise shadings with short strokes of the retractable cord system.

Ultraglide
Retractable pull cord system that keeps the cord at a constant length, whether the shade is raised or lowered. Horizontal blinds use a pull wand or optional pull cord with a retractable cord.

Vertiglide
Hardware system to move vertically oriented honeycomb and Vignette Traversed with Vertiglide shades from side to side.
